ABOUT OUR DOGS

VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF HAVANESE

Havanese come in a variety of sizes, colors and personality types. This is one of the things that make them so irresistible!! Our breeding stock come from varied breeding lines across the nation. What surprised us, is the variance in personality from dog to dog. These dogs are truly unique individuals and that makes them all the more endearing.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO US THAT OUR PUPPIES PARENT’S HAVE BEEN TESTED FOR HEALTH AND GENETICS. WE PROVIDE LINKS TO THEIR OFA TESTING RESULTS ON THE NATIONAL ORTHOPEDIC FOUNDATION FOR ANIMALS WEBSITE FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE.

LILY

Lily is a very important member of our breeding program. She is a great size: 10 pounds. She is very snuggy and sweet. She has a lovely black and white Irish Pied coat; we keep it short nowadays but it can be long and flowing. Lily is very healthy. Her OFA results are great. Lily absolutely loves to be a mom. When she does not have puppies of her own to care for and play with, she will adopt other puppies in our program to play with and enjoy. We get a lot of joy from Lily.

RUBY

Ruby is an up and coming member of the clan here at Lucky Havanese. She will likely have her first litter in Spring of 2025. We are so exciting to see her intense red coloring passed on to the next generation.

GIOVANNI

Giovanni is one of our stud dogs. He has an amazing full red coat with a white chin and black leather. He has a wonderful temperament and loves to play fetch. He loves to play and wrestle with all of the other dogs, especially the puppies. He has American and European lines that all lead back to Cuba, of course!

MAIA AND CLEMENTINE

Maia and Clementine are red sable partis. Their dad is from Alabama and goes back to European lines. Their mom is a black and white parti. Both of these girls have the most loving dispositions ever! If you want a snuggle buddy, these girls are the mom’s for your puppy!

LEONARDO

Leonardo is our second stud dog. He is unrelated to all of our Havanese, he comes from the Midwest. We are exceptionally fond of his wonderful temperament and tendency to not bark. Leonardo is especially sweet.

Memories….
